The Midwest is getting hit by snow and ice and in most places it’s bad. You may be able to navigate snow, but you do not screw around with ice; it’s a killer and most people will stay off the roads. It’s just not worth the risk. Having said that, at some point today, you’ll find yourself venturing out to the mailbox to gather your daily delivery of useless crap and bills, most of which you will simply toss into the trash. But how did that mail get here? Asks no one ever.
I honestly can’t remember a storm bad enough that the USPS, in those odd little two-wheel drive vehicles, failed to deliver my mail as promised. So today as we huddle inside our homes because the roads are too dangerous, let’s think of them and say, Thank you!
